FAQs

Q: Who are TLCB staff?

A: A crack commando unit sent to prison by a military court for a crime we didn’t commit. Ok, that’s the A-Team. But we are just as secretive. Sorry, we can’t really answer this one…

Q: Do you blog your own creations?

A: No. Well, sort of no. Unlike some of the other Lego blogs on the net, TLCB staff will never blog anything they have built themselves. This is because TLCB exists to showcase the community’s creations, not our own. Occasionally we have blogged one-another’s creations, but only if these have met TLCB’s strict criteria, and that doesn’t happen very often.

Q: How do I get my creation / LEGO Ideas project featured on TLCB?

A: If your creation is available on one of the websites that our Elves regularly search, and if it meets our criteria, there’s a good chance they’ll find it. Writing to TLCB asking us to publish your work is not a recommended method.

Q: Can I suggest a creation that I think should appear on TLCB?

A: Yes! You can submit a suggestion via the Feedback and Submission Suggestions page and if it meets our criteria it could appear here! However, please ensure you read our Submission Guidelines first.

Q: Can I buy a model or instructions for a model that I’ve seen featured on TLCB?

A: Maybe. Every post on TLCB includes a link to the builder that created the model you’re looking at. You can click on this link to get in touch with them directly.

Q: Can I get my website, product or service featured or reviewed on TLCB?

A: Maybe. If your website, product or service is LEGO related and fits with the mission of this website then we may be able to help with promotion where appropriate. Contact us here if you think you have something of interest.

Q: Can I write for TLCB?

A: Maybe! If you’re interested in becoming a Guest Blogger and have good written English skills then get in touch!
