Possibly our most boring post to date, but if you’re a studless builder, perhaps one of our most important ones too. The Technic 8-Tooth Gear has been reworked so that it no longer slips inside studless beams. Hurrah! Each tooth has an additional step added to each side, forming a new ring that effectively widens the gear.
Also available in 2013 will be LEGO’s new Pull-Back Motor, first previewed in sets 82010 and 82011. Pictures courtesy of slfroden.
If you’re going to steal my photos, and cut off my avatar, you could at least give me some credit…
Apologies for delay in your comment appearing, it went into our Spam folder so we had to approve it.
We found these pictures via Google via TechnicBricks. If they are yours originally (your hyperlink goes to a Brickshelf folder so we assume so) apologies for not stating your ownership. However, unless we find our News pictures ‘at source’ it can be quite difficult (and frankly unnecessary) to trace their origins, especially when the source name is inconsistent.
The nature of the Web is it is just that, a web, and we firmly believe that it should be as open-source as possible. Our ‘work’ is repeatedly used elsewhere, but we’re secure enough to just be proud that we’re part of the sharing of information that people find interesting, wherever it may end up.
Nevertheless, please find a link to your Brickshelf page now attached to the main article. Thanks for stopping by, The Lego Car Blog Team.
