Slot Machine

Lego Scalextric Slot Racer

You can’t beat sliding into a slot and having a good quickie. Just be careful you don’t overdo it, fall out, and end up ploughing through the carpet by accident. Still, a swift retrieval and reinsertion by hand can fix the situation and allow the fun the continue. This neat slot racer by Flickr’s Jonas comes complete with track and hovering hand, and you can see more at the link above.

Hi there, I’ve been reading the Lego Car Blog for many years now, and I think a lot of your articles are quite funny depending on what’s being reviewed. I don’t mean to sound so old and boring, and I know some kids won’t get it, but I think just for this one article, that it may be creeping a little over the line with the jokes? I can’t imagine you’re going to like my comment here, but otherwise, for what it’s worth, you’re doing a brilliant job with the site, please consider the younger audiences?

      Hello Steven

      Thanks for stopping by.

Get your mind out of the gutter! Seriously though, we hoped we kept this one a vague enough metaphor, but maybe not! Thanks for your comment – we appreciate feedback from readers on how we’re doing and we do genuinely use it to set our boundaries. This particular boundary will be pulled back in a bit…

      All the best
