We’re pretty purist here at The Lego Car Blog, preferring creations built only from real LEGO bricks (and compatible third-party electronics). But a couple of mild modifications can add a whole lot to a build, particularly if the vehicle it’s replicating is also a little different from how it left the factory.
Cue Sergio Batista‘s Speed Champions Nissan 200 SX, which recreates the real-world car of a fellow Portuguese YouTuber. Custom decals, bespoke 3D-printed wheels, and custom ‘Toyo’ tyres join the accurate brick-built bodywork, which also features pop-up headlights, a detailed engine, plus room for two mini-figures, and there’s more to see of Sergio’s mildly-modded Nissan via the link above.
