Household Crap

Right, that’s enough far-fetched other-worldly rovers for a bit, here’s a bland 1990s truck, pulling an even blander trailer, filled with bland plastic kitchen products. But built beautifully

This Curver-liveried DAF FT 85.360 ATI and trailer comes from previous bloggee Arian Janssens, and mundane though a mid-’90s DAF may be, the techniques Arian has deployed to create it are exceptional. Subtle custom decals and chrome wheels add to the authenticity and there’s more of the model to see here.

But we’re not just about humdrum haulers of household items today, because Arian has also turned his building talents to something altogether weirder. This is the Vervaet Hyrdo Trike XL, ‘the best self-propelled liquid manure (slurry) processor’, according to, um… the people that make it. And who are we to argue with that!

A giant rolling tank of poo, there’s more to see at Arian’s ‘Hydro Trike XL’ album, and you can process your slurry via the link above!

I’m Lovin’ It

Created in 2003 by a German marketing agency to revitalise a stagnant McDonald’s, the Justin Timberlake voiced “I’m Lovin’ It”* campaign has been the brand’s tagline for over two decades. As have animal welfare violations, immediate-landfill plastic toys, and french fries with nineteen ingredients.

Cue previous bloggee Arian Janessens‘ excellent McDonald’s-liveried DAF FAR 85.360 truck and drawbar trailer, which would no doubt be loaded with the meat from miserable chickens, pointless plastic toys, and nineteen different fries ingredients if it were real.

Superb brickwork, top-notch presentation, and opening doors and ramps all feature, and you can place your order for Type 2 diabetes and heart disease via the link above.

*You may be able to tell but we are not, in fact, lovin’ it.

Animal Transport

Here at the Lego Car Blog we love animals. They’re delicious. Seriously though, we do want them to be treated well up until the point they become sausages.

As Christmas approaches there will be many more trucks like this transporting the delicious fruits of farmyard to… well, let’s not think too much about that. This DAF FAN 85.360 Sky Cab pig transporter comes from Arian Janssens of Flickr and it’s an excellent – if unusual – Model Team build.

There’s more to see at Arian’s DAF FAN 85.360 Flickr album, and whilst we will be enjoying many and varied meats this Christmas we do ask that if you’re doing the same that you do your very best to choose where your meat comes from with care.
