Carrying 15,000 Bricks

This spectacular creation was unearthed by The Brother Brick this week, and it might be the biggest thing to appear here this year.

Built by Stephen (Chao) it is of course a scale replica of the SHIELD Helicarrier from the Avengers franchise, and it’s massive. At over 4 foot long and constructed from over 15,000 pieces it has a mass five times that of the official LEGO Helicarrier set.

Avengers Assemble

This incredible recreation of the Helicarrier from the Avengers movie franchise was discovered today on MOCpages. It actually breaks two of our own submission guidance rules, being both not a car and being built digitally. But just look at it! Yo-Sub Joo has painstakingly pieced together 22,694 digital bricks to create a model that if it were real would measure over two meters long! A movie quickie now. Nothing we can write here will do Sariel‘s Helicarrier from the Avengers Assemble movie justice, it’s just too awesome. In fact, it’s so awesome we broke our own rule to not default to the adjective ‘awesome’. Anyway, see how awesome Sariel’s latest creation is on MOCpages via the link above, or via Sariel’s blog.
