Two Fat Ladies

Lego Harley Davidson '88'A far more professional Lego site beat us to publishing this spectacular 1:10 Harley Davidson ’88’ by TLCB favourite Brickonwheels, however our witty titles guy is back (points if you get this one!) and it’s just too cool not to post here too. Featuring a chromed 88 cubic inch engine and a brilliant rear wheel choice – using two 2903 wheels with a wide tyre stretched around both – you can find full galleries of this incredible motorcycle on both MOCpages and Flickr.

TLCB also interviewed Bricksonwheels recently and you can read the transcript in our Master MOCers series here, where he shares his building techniques, how he got into LEGO model-making, and his favourite bricks and builders.

Real Rotator Wrecker

Lego Peterbilt tow truck

We’ve known Bricksonwheels for a while now, he was interviewed here on TLCB last week, and several of his models have appeared on these pages. So the Elves were pretty excited when he uploaded his latest masterpiece, a truly incredible 1:13 scale Peterbilt 379 Century Rotator Wrecker, a Tow Truck that looks more like the real Peterbilt than a Lego one

Weighing 9KG and utilising over 10,000 LEGO pieces BricksonWheels’ newest truck includes a fully functioning boom, working outriggers and fully wired winches. It’s also got possibly the coolest paint-job seen on any of his models so far, making it look like a giant Checker Cab. Check out what might be TLCB’s Truck of the Year on MOCpages and Flickr, where the full stats and complete gallery are available.

Potato Puller

Lego Scania 143 TruckThe collaboration continues between two of the world’s most talented Lego truck builders. This incredible Scania 143 truck, previously featured here at TLCB, is the work of BricksonWheels on Flickr. His equally talented compatriot, Dennis Bosman, a prolific truck builder in his own right, adds a perfectly suited Bulthuis Potato trailer to complete the rig.

We’re delighted to announce that we recently bagged an interview with BricksonWheels, who becomes the second builder in our Master MOCer Series. Click here to read his story, or visit the ‘Interviews’ tab on the homepage menu.

Gravel Pit

Lego Model Team Truck HaulerWe’ve written about this astonishing Peterbilt 379 by bricksonwheels before, but when a builder updates their portfolio with photos like these it’s definitely worth a revisit. Bricksonwheels moves his spectacular truck to a remarkably well-suited setting, where he’s joined by the equally brilliant Dennis Bosman and his previously featured Scania LT tipper. View the full gallery resulting in their meet at either of the aforementioned links. And now, for no reason other than a tenuous link the title, a bonus video to demonstrate how street we are.

The Baron is Back

Red Baron Motorbike

From three wings to two wheels

The First World War ace Manfred von Richthofen, otherwise known as the Red Baron, died tragically young like most of those lost in the Great War. However, his aerobatic prowess and number of kills has granted him lasting infamy, and he’s now revered as something of a legend. Bricksonwheels continues the Baron’s story with his stunning ‘Red Baron’ Harley Davidson. Resplendent in the Baron’s famous colour scheme and markings, and with about £1m worth of chrome plated bricks, it might just be the best bike we’ve featured yet. Pulling Swedes

Lego Scania Truck

Not the blonde curvy type of Swede, but still nice to look at.

Time for a truck, and this example comes from one the best truck builders on the net; Bricksonwheels. Dating from the late ’80s to early ’90s, these 143 model Scanias could punch out over 500bhp from their V8s. See the complete photo gallery of this classic tractor unit on Flickr.

Match This Dragon Style!

Image

Brickonwheels has done it again. Another immaculately built truck – a European style cab-over this time. It’s a Scania, by the way, but that’s not important. The important bit is the artwork. The dragons made the Elves nervous, for some reason…

Harley Davidson Fatboy

Fatboy

Bricksonwheels MOC is one of Lego community’s greatest truck-builders, and occasionally he turns his considerable talents to other forms of transport too. Featuring his trademark chrome, this Harley Davidson ‘Fatboy’ motorbike got The Lego Car Blog Elves very excited; running around the office making ‘Brrrm BrrRRRRm’ noises. We’ve finally managed to kick them out so they can continue their search, but secretly we’re very proud of the one that brought this MOC in. View it in greater depth on MOCpages.

Peterbilt 359 Classic

Shiny shiny

Bricksonwheels is back, with a wonderfully chromed Peterbilt 359. Hope he’s handy with the Pledge to keep it looking this good.
