Merry Christmas!

Lego Santa Claus

It’s only three more sleeps ’til Christmas! Memories/regrets from TLCB Christmas Party are still (unfortunately) strongly etched into our conscious, TLCB Elves have been gathered up and returned to their cages, and the office is now hauntingly quiet – save for the click-clacking of this writer’s keyboard echoing out into the emptiness.

We’ll be back in a few days to continue bringing you the very best Lego vehicles that the web has to offer, until then – from all of us here at TLCB – have a very Merry Christmas!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

Lego Santa's Hot Rod

He’s making a list, he’s checking it twice, he’s got a hot rod for crossing the ice, Santa Claus is coming to town!

When Santa isn’t commanding his magic sleigh he’s still got to get around, and – looking as he does like the missing member of ZZ Top – we think he’s probably got a pretty cool ride.

Previous bloggee sm 01 thinks so too, and he’s built Mr. Claus the perfect vehicle for a rockin’ journey across the frozen wastes of the North Pole. You can see more of Santa’s Hot Rod on Flickr at the link above.

Ho Ho Horsepower!

Lego Christmas Hot Rod

The festive season is upon us, the Elves are back in their cages, and TLCB staff are about to turn off the lights and head down the pub. So before we take our yuletide break here’s Santa Claus in a hot rod courtesy of Senator Chinchilla on MOCpages and Flickr. We’ll be back in a few days and in the meantime, from all of us here at TLCB, have a very merry Christmas!

It’s Christmaaaas!

Merry Christmas from The Lego Car Blog!

The festive holidays approacheth! As such we’ll be winding back our posts for a little bit. Each Elf that has returned to TLCB HQ over the last few weeks has been re-caged ready for re-release after Santa visits. Being Elves, they’re actually ‘happy’ to work over Christmas of course. However, we intend to spend the next two weeks being drunk*, so we won’t be able to process their finds. There are a few Elves yet to return though, so you can expect the odd post and review in the run up to the Christmas. In the meantime, thanks for your readership during 2012 and happy holidays!

Merry Christmas from all of The Lego Car Blog Team!

Christmas Wind-Up

Clockwork Santa
Clockwork Santa

This mythical mechano-man has been formed from the strange but wonderful inner workings of Nathan Proudlove’s head. Presumably though, only the Railway Children will be getting presents this year, as railways aren’t famed for their flexibility in routes or destinations.

Merry Christmas!

Santa Trike
Ho Ho Ho, tring tring!
Schfio Factory’s wonderful tricycle-riding Santa finally lets us post a proper Christmas MOC! Merry Christmas to all our readers and thanks for making The Lego Car Blog such a rapid success. We look forward to sharing more of the best LEGO news, set reviews and MOCs with you in 2012!
