Because every day is a better with Bob Marley. Anyhoo, this lovely Town-scale tram comes from Łukasz Libuszewski of Flickr, and a thoroughly good job he’s done too. Hop on board via the link above.

Imperial Square
Today’s post may be a fictional tram at a fictional stop in a fictional square, but that doesn’t stop it being completely lovely. Eero Okkonen is the builder behind this neat turn-of-the-century scene and there’s more to see on Flickr via the link. Ding ding!
We’re Tramming, and I Hope You Like Tramming Too*
This huge odd-looking device is a Suburban Tram, and it can give a ride to most of the town.** It comes from the mind of Flickr’s Vince Toulouse, who has deployed all manner of unusual pieces from several decades of LEGO themes to create it.
There’s lots more to see at the tram’s album on Flickr – click the link above to hop on-board, although we have no idea where it’s going.
*Today’s (slightly butchered) title song can be found here.
**Just like your Mom.
Between the Lines
Trams are – if you’re a cyclist – fraught with peril. One second you’re happily riding along, the next your wheels have dropped into a tramline, and the next you’re in an ambulance. This Lego Town cyclist seems to have taken the ‘if you can’t beat ’em join ’em’ approach and hitched his bike to the front to go for a nice safe sit down inside. Either that or he crossed in front of it without looking and it now has a new hood ornament. Let’s hope it’s the former…
There’s more to see of this lovely Town-style tram on Flickr courtesy of Prison Brick. Click the link to take a ride over to his photostream.
Truck ‘n Tram
This beautiful vintage tram and truck pairing was discovered by one of our Elves on Flickr. Both models are the work of Dario Minisini and they’re part of a much larger and brilliantly built town scene. There’s more to see of both creations and the extensive diorama in which they feature at the link above.
Hong Kong Tramways
Hong Kong’s public transport system is awesome. The taxis have self-opening doors, the ferries are wonderfully historic (and ridiculously cheap), and the trams are as beautiful as this. Thank the British Empire for much of that, which is all the more annoying that in actual Britain public transport costs around fifty times as much and is worse in every way.
Back to Hong Kong and this brilliant electric tram comes from Shineyu Yu. Built to Technic figure scale it includes remote control drive, working LED lights, rotating destination board and some beautifully engineered opening doors. Hop on board at either MOCpages or Eurobricks.
Line of Coke
This utterly beautiful Portuguese tram from Flickr’s rupilego was found on, er… The Brothers Brick. We were a bit drunk at the weekend and missed a few posts. But no matter, rupilego’s creation is gorgeous so it can appear here too. Plus our title is better. Anyway, there’s lots more to see at the link/s above!
