TLCB Elves are rather fond of Lego Ferraris. Particularly red ones. Which means we have a happy contingent today, because here are no less than three of them.

Each is the work of previous bloggee Fabrice Larcheveque, who has captured the Ferrari LaFerrari, 512 BB, and 288 GTO brilliantly in 8-wide Speed Champions scale.

Fabrice’s updated builds are presented beautifully, and there’s more to see of the LaFerrari, 512 BB, 288 GTO, and many more models besides at his Flickr photostream.

Almost a decade on, the Ferrari LaFerrari is still the stupidest name ever given to a car. And yes, we have heard of the Mazda Bongo Friendee.

Powered by a 6.3 litre V12 with Hybrid KERS producing almost 1,000bhp, the Ferrari The Ferrari did have the performance to back up being named twice though.

This stunning 1:16 Model Team replica of the Ferrari The LaFerrari Ferrari is the work of previous bloggee Noah_L, and features opening butterfly doors, front trunk and engine cover, along with some of the finest presentation you’ll see anywhere in the online Lego community.

It might be the most stupidly named car of all time (OK, apart from the Mazda Bongo Friendee), but the Ferrari La Ferrari is a properly impressive machine. A V12 engine and a KERS hybrid system deliver 950bhp, whilst active aerodynamics aim to allow the driver to use at least some of that without ending up as a red smear on a barrier somewhere.

Costing over $1 million new and with only 499 made, most of us will never even see a Ferrari LaFerrari, let alone drive one, but thanks to T Lego of Eurobricks you can now build your very own! T Lego first designed his brilliant Technic recreation of the ultra-rate Italian hypercar digitally using Master MOCer Sariel‘s ‘Model Scaler’ software, before creating the model for real.

Packed with functionality, the car features front and rear suspension, working steering with positive caster angle, opening butterfly doors and engine cover, a miniature V12 piston engine (designed by another Master MOCer Crowkillers), and mechanically operated ‘active’ aerodynamics.

Lego Ferrari Dealership

Constructed from around 36,000 pieces and 4 years in the making, this is one of the largest Lego projects that this site has ever featured. Ryan Link, a regular bloggee here at The Lego Car Blog, has been very busy.

Huge Lego Ferrari Dealership

Loosely based on the Tampa Bay Ferrari dealership, Ryan has designed and built a home for the eight Ferrari models that he has constructed over the past few years. Measuring 192×144 studs, Ryan’s enormous creation can easily house his collection, and features a wealth of incredible detailing, including brick-built wall mosaics depicting classic Ferrari models, beautiful Ferrari lettering, and even a couple of wonderfully intricate prancing horse logos too.

The shot above shows just how good the aforementioned mosaics and logos look, which feature throughout the interior of the dealership including in the showroom, customer lounge and accessories area, and workshop, all of which are lit by a third-party LED system integrated into the roof of the build.

The stars of Ryan’s incredible build are of course the Ferrari models which it was built to house, and they include a 458 Italia, Enzo, LaFerrari, 599 GTB, Testarossa, F12 Berlinetta, and even a fully liveried Ferrari team truck, all of which have been published here.

Lego Technic Ferrari LaFerrari RC

BrunoJ’s incredible Technic recreation of the world’s most ridiculously named supercar has appeared here at The Lego Car Blog before, and since then a paying customer asked the builder to revisit his original model to create a new and even more spectacular version.

This is the result, and it’s a phenomenal showcase for what can be achieved from our favourite little plastic bricks. Underneath the stunningly accurate 1:9 Technic bodywork is a working V12 piston engine, all-wheel independent suspension and a suite of Power Functions electrical functions.

These include the usual remote control drive and steering plus; remotely opening doors, LED lighting including turn function and active aerodynamics – just like the real LaFerrari. In all there are six Power Functions motors, two LiPo rechargeable batteries, two IR receivers and seven pairs of LEDs, which all rides on four realistic 3D-printed wheels with custom special-width tyres.

Lego Technic Ferrari LaFerrari

The Ferrari LaFerrari is the stupidest name even given to a car. But what a car it is.

Powered by the combination of a 6.3 litre V12 800bhp petrol engine and a 160bhp KER system the LaFerrari could be the fastest car in the world right now – although unless Ferrari decide to let journalists test it, and until BBC’s Top Gear returns to be able to air a race between the LaFerrari, McLaren’s P1 and Porsche’s 918, we may never know.

Until then we’ll make do with this version of Ferrari’s hybrid hypercar, which was suggested to us by a reader who discovered it on Brickshelf. Brunojj1 is the builder and you can see the full gallery of his beautiful creation via the link above, including digital renders of the V12 engine, gearbox and Power Functions drivetrain.
