New photo, old MOCs. We’re stretching our own ‘Freshest MOCs on the Net’ rule a little with this, but if there’s any reason for a stretch this is it. BricksonWheels finally photographs all his Harley Davidson motorbikes together. See the shoot on Flickr, and read about how he creates his stunning creations in his interview here.

Two Fat Ladies
A far more professional Lego site beat us to publishing this spectacular 1:10 Harley Davidson ’88’ by TLCB favourite Brickonwheels, however our witty titles guy is back (points if you get this one!) and it’s just too cool not to post here too. Featuring a chromed 88 cubic inch engine and a brilliant rear wheel choice – using two 2903 wheels with a wide tyre stretched around both – you can find full galleries of this incredible motorcycle on both MOCpages and Flickr.
TLCB also interviewed Bricksonwheels recently and you can read the transcript in our Master MOCers series here, where he shares his building techniques, how he got into LEGO model-making, and his favourite bricks and builders.
Tron Tuesday
It’s a Tuesday, and we have a Tron MOC. The title practically wrote itself! Peter Mowry‘s awesome second generation Light Cycle is a work of Lego art. Based on the vehicles from the movie about a video game-turned-reality (and featuring on the sound-track the only good noise ever to come out of France – Daft Punk) you can see more of this brilliant creation on Peter’s photostream at the link above. The Game has changed.
Sidecars in Space!
Billyburg’s lunar speeder with sidecar somehow collides a retro motorbike with a sci-fi spaceship. It works though, as who wouldn’t want to zoom across the surface of the moon with a mate? You can see more of Billy’s work over on Flickr.
Groovy Little Motorbike
Honda’s Marc Marquez claimed victory at the German MotoGP over the weekend, so we’ve decided to take TLCB on two wheels for this post with a Honda from a different era (and budget!). The excellent Honda CB400 motorbike above comes courtesy of OzBen on Brickshelf. Check it out at the link and join the discussion on Eurobricks.
The Walking Dead
It looks like the Zombie Apocalypse has reached LEGO City too. Luckily there’s a little plastic version of Daryl from The Walking Dead complete with his chopper to keep the other mini-figures safe from the hoarding undead. See more and show your appreciation at Project Azazel‘s photostream.
Wild Hog
This beautiful Harley Davidson, found by one of our Elves on MOCpages, created much excitement within our chaotic workforce. The office was ransacked of all brooms, mops and rulers, which were quickly pressed into service as makeshift motorcycles, to the accompaniment of many ‘Bruumm, bruuuummmm’ noises. A quick blast of an air-horn returned a semblance of normality, scattering the Elves and leaving us to pick up the stolen office paraphernalia dropped during their rapid exit. We have Fred Ottens to thank for the disruption, but we’ve let him off as his Harley is just so good. Click his name to see the whole gallery.
Bike Boxing
Welcome to today’s fight! Iiiin the red corner, weighing in at six huuuundred pieces, Billy ‘The Bludgeon’ Burg‘s Duuuucatti! Aaaand in the blue corner, weighing in at one huuuundred pieces, Hot Rod ‘The Impaler’‘s Cafe Raaaaacer!
Rocket Red
Everyone knows that red is the fastest colour. It’s a scientifically proven fact. Using the racing colour of choice to great effect are Hot Rod Vince with his ‘Little Racing Bike’, and Tyler Sky with his ‘Formula One Space Speeder’. See more of both on Flickr.
Triple Filtered
We’re not sure what’s got into the Elves recently. Until this week we’d probably only posted three Russian MOCs in our whole existence, yet in the last few days alone we’ve posted another three. Anyway, while we investigate the Elves’ obsession with Soviet-era transportation, you can view this rather brilliant Ural motorbike from Lino M on Flickr.
Drag Queens
The Lego Car Blog Elves continue their unending search for the best LEGO creations on the world wide web, and today one returned from a romp through Brickshelf with these. MOCer tango-zero has recreated some glorious drag bikes, the latest two of which you can see here. Above is a wonderful Harley Davidson Street Racer, whilst below is the baddest type of bike you can get; an insane Top Fuel Drag Racer. To see these and tango-zero’s other bikes, click his hyperlinked name above.
Just A Groovy Little Motorbike
It climbs the hills like a Matchless, ‘Cause my Honda’s built really light.
When I go into the turns, Lean with me and hang on tight
I better turn on the lights, So we can ride my Honda tonight
Well said Brian Wilson of Beach Boys fame. And well built by Zoltan Precsenyi on MOCpages, who’s done a superb job of recreating the Honda CB1100 in Lego. See more of this groovy little motorbike here.
The Baron is Back
The First World War ace Manfred von Richthofen, otherwise known as the Red Baron, died tragically young like most of those lost in the Great War. However, his aerobatic prowess and number of kills has granted him lasting infamy, and he’s now revered as something of a legend. Bricksonwheels continues the Baron’s story with his stunning ‘Red Baron’ Harley Davidson. Resplendent in the Baron’s famous colour scheme and markings, and with about £1m worth of chrome plated bricks, it might just be the best bike we’ve featured yet. See more at brickonwheels’ Flickr photostream.
Better Bike
With MOCpages back up and running there’s been an influx of new models uploaded. The Lego Car Blog Elves have been redistributed accordingly and are once again foraging far and wide to find the best Lego vehicles on the world wide web. Vehicles like this one. Nick Barrett must’ve read our recent review of LEGO’s own 857 and thought he could do better. And by gum he has. The clunky lines of the original motorcycle have been replaced by something far more svelte. See more on the revitalized MOCpages.
Kustom Kawasaki
This lovely old Kawasaki KZ400 is the work of Jonsson on Eurobricks, who mixes Technic and Model Team styles to great effect. You can read more at the Eurobricks discussion page here.
