A new supercar company seems to start every week, announcing something with a million horsepower and a top speed of 400mph, before immediately going into liquidation never having built a thing. However there is one exception; Koenigsegg.
Now twenty years old, Koenigsegg have built some of the most exciting hypercars of the modern era, including this, the 1,300bhp Jesko.
This spectacular Technic replica of the Koenigsegg Jesko comes from Pvdb of Eurobricks, and – like the real world car – it’s one of the finest examples of its class.
The beautifully replicated bodywork includes Koenigsegg’s patented dyhedral doors that swivel skywards to open, opening rear clamshell and front trunk, and an adjustable rear wing.
Pvdb’s creation also features the Jesko’s unique front and rear ‘triplex’ (three damper) suspension, along with Hand of God steering, and a mid-mounted piston engine hooked up to an six-speed (plus natural and reverse) sequential paddle shift gearbox, operated via levers in the cabin.
It’s all superbly executed and demonstrates how real a Technic supercar can get if – as in this case – you spend over a year refining the engineering.

The wise words of Ron Burgundy there, as today we have a recreation of one of the final two Koenigsegg Ageras built before production ended, the FE Thor.
Built by the aptly-named 3D supercarBricks of Flickr, this incredible recreation of one the worlds rarest, fastest, and most expensive hypercars includes opening front and rear clamshells, a removable roof, and custom LEGO-compatible 3D-printed wheels and windshield surround pieces.

The Koenigsegg Gemera – the brand’s first four-seater – hasn’t been released yet, but has already generated a fair bit of interest thanks to a 2.0 three-cylinder engine that is supposed to make a scarcely believable 600bhp. Of course we’re in the age of electrification now though, so that’s not all the Gemera has, with three electric motors boosting the total power to a claimed 1,600bhp.
Normally at this point we’d lose interest, as we do with every hypercar concept proclaiming ridiculous performance figures, however Koenigsegg do have a habit of building what they say they will, making the Gemera concept really very interesting indeed.
We have a while to wait until we learn how realistic Koenigsegg are being, so until then here’s a Speed Champions version of the wild 1,600bhp hyper-sedan from previous bloggee Gerald Cacas, who has captured the 2020 concept car beautifully, even matching its real world colour scheme.

We rarely feature digital builds here at The Lego Car Blog because, well… they rarely look like this! Suggested to us by a reader, this is newcomer David Elisson‘s Koenigsegg Regara, and it’s stunning.
David has successfully recreated the Regera’s wildly complicated shape brilliantly, assuming it wouldn’t fall apart if it were built for real of course, and you can see more of his spectacular digital design on Flickr via the link above.
It’s a supercar double at The Lego Car Blog today with two builds from the aptly named 3D supercarBricks. Both 3D’s Bugatti Chiron (above) and Koenigsegg Jesko (below) replicate their real-life counterparts superbly, with the Jesko finished by the addition of some excellent custom 3D printed wheels. This breathtaking creation is a Koenigsegg One:1, Sweden’s twin-turbocharged, 1,300bhp, rumoured 270mph, 1:1 bhp:kg ultra-rare hypercar. It’s the work of Pvdb, and it’s one of the greatest Technic supercars that we’ve ever posted.
Pvdb has replicated the Koenigsegg One:1’s technical specifications beautifully, including its amazing dihedral doors, complex suspension and V8 engine, but the real work of art is his working paddle-shift gearbox.
Pvdb has squeezed three ratios into his Technic paddle-shift, but even being four cogs short of the real One:1 it’s an accomplishment that has blown the collective minds of TLCB office. If we’re right about LEGO’s forthcoming 42056 Porsche 911 GT3 RS set also including a working paddle-shift gearbox it’ll be interesting to see how many ratios LEGO themselves have managed to engineer into their new flagship.
